Tubes and vials are supplied in a range of heights, diameters, wall thicknesses, bottom shapes (round or flat), rim and closure styles in capacities from a few microlitres up to 25mL. Closures can be simple stoppers, screw-tops, push-tops, snap-tops or crimp-tops.
Micro sampling vials and closures for smaller sample sizes up to 2mL Most sample vials are flat-bottomed with straight sides for stability on the bench, although dedicated vial racks can be used. Sample vials are often profiled to minimise dead volumes above the sample surface.
The vials combine a standard 2mL outer diameter with a reduced inner diameter of 0.6mL for guaranteed fit on most autosamplers, and high recovery applications. They are available as 9mm screw thread and 11mm Crimp/Snap versions.
