Our screw top clear and amber glass vials and plastic screw top vials are available in 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, and 13mm screw threads. The most commonly used vials are 9mm, 12x32mm screw thread vials. A 12x32mm vial is also known as 1.5mL, 1.8mL, and 2.0mL vials by different manufacturers.

Sample vials may also be sterile or pre-cleaned for conformity to various certification and compliance requirements. Glass sample vials made from Type 1 Class A borosilicate glass have low extractables and superior chemical resistance, others made from soda lime glass are for less demanding applications.
