The most commonly used vials are 9mm, 12x32mm screw thread vials. A 12x32mm vial is also known as 1.5mL, 1.8mL, and 2.0mL vials by different manufacturers. Microsampling options include using a one-piece vial with fused insert molded into the vial, or using a separate insert placed into a vial.
